I would say yes Laure, especially of the handwraps for speed bag training. If you wear nothing, even during light workouts, it can quickly cause abrasion of the skin.

Generally the right time to replace handwraps is when they start to fray. However, sometimes they become stained or smelly and just unpleasant to wear, which is also a good indicator that a new pair is needed.
