heavy bag hanger into metal studs

I can't find an answer anywhere. We're hanging Tile Heavy bag hangers into metal studs. The hanger is rated to 300 lbs. The studs are within an interior wall of a steel building. The wall goes to the ceiling > 22ft high. I've seen toggle bolts recommended if we install them through the stud, and advised against because metal studs are flimsy. We have i-beams in the ceiling, but already have the mounts in hand and would like to make them work. If I can find adequately sized toggle bolts, might this work?

Hmm, I'm sorry confused but I'm not sure on that one. I'll post back if I can find a more concrete answer.

Yes, as long as they aren't too thick so that the hanger can't wrap around them. Besides that, the metal beam will work well with it.

Hey Lorenzo - that depends on how much swing your bag will get. If you've got a super heavy bag (100lb ) it'll probably swing less than an 80 lb bag. That being said, you'll probably want about 3-4 feet away from the wall anyway.

heavy bag sliding track

Hi I'm in the process of building a home gym. The owner wants to be able to slide his heavy bag back and forth about 6'. Does anyone know where I can find a track that the bag can slide on and can be locked into place?

Hmm, that's an interesting home gym idea Dan! Unfortunately I don't know of any equipment pieces that are premade for that sort of thing. You might have to get home-depot-creative.

Yes but I would recommend using concrete screws in place of the ones supplied.

Yes, as long as the wood is strong enough to support the bag
