Overall they do what they are meant to do, and provide solid knuckle protection. They add a little more weight to the hands than normal handwraps do. They have a nice and thick velcro closure, but the actual handwrap (not gel over knuckles) is a little thin for me. If it was thicker it would support the wrist better although I like that it has some elasticity to it. If your a heavy hitter,are using some abused training gloves, or need a little more protection for your knuckles these might be a great and cheap option for you.   Permalink

The gel aspect definitely adds an extra layer of protection. Some people may not find it necessary and may be more comfortable with traditional wrap. But for anyone who wants a little extra, these are very cool.  Permalink
