Works for me...

This is my very first pair of bag gloves, so there's nothing to compare it with. But I feel like they do the job. My wrists sprain easily, but these gloves have prevented that from hapening even after several heavy bag sessions (using a regular handwrap).

Boxing and Bag Gloves

My son is 6 years old. I am looking for the smallest gloves to get something close if not a size that actually fits him. He would like blue gloves. Do you have anything that small? His hand is approximately 5 inches from base of palm to end of finger and about 1 1/2 inches across his knuckles. Permalink

Why do I need bag gloves?

It makes sense that a boxer needs boxing gloves, but what a lot of people don't realize is that for punching a heavy bag or speed bag you want to use bag gloves, not boxing gloves. Bag gloves are designed to optimize a person's punching form and protect both their hands and wrists during training. Bag gloves are used whenever your striking against an object, not a person and are designed to endure the rigors of extended workouts.

What weight glove should I get for doing bag work?
