I'm wanting to start up boxing so I want to get a bag what should i get I'm 5"8' and weigh about 160 pounds. thanks

You can make any bag work for you. If it is heavier, you could stand and pounch and unload on it, and if its lighter with a bit more swing you can work on technique and movement, etc... Start with a 70 lb bag maybe and work your way up as you get stronger and better.

HeavyBag Height

What is the proper height to hang a heavy bag? I'm assuming there's a standard height to fit most averaged size people. I'm 5'10" and my wife is 5'6". Thx for you help.

I would say that is mostly a personal preference! Personally, i hang my bags a little lower than normal because I focus a lot on body work, just as an example. i would say find the height that works best for you.
