Pros and cons even out

R2C 180" Black Cotton Handwraps

Great material quality. Throughout the wrap and especially the hook and loop closure; among the nicest I've seen.

The thicker material of the wrap lends itself to 2 issues: First, they bunch and wrinkle a bit especially when running between your fingers down to your wrist. Second, the color (mine are black) bleeds for what seems like forever. I've washed mine several times now and they're still turning the water and anything in it grey. I've resorted to hand-washing for a while.

The color bleeding will end soon, I'm hoping after a while they wear in and wrinkle and bunch a bit less.

All-in-all a solid purchase. I've got 6 sets and I'll likely look for these next time I'm in the market.

Excellent gear.

Gel Max Mouth Guard

Fits well, looks cool, solid protection, easy to breathe around while jaw is clenched.
Fit depends on how well you do during the boil and bite. Mine is just a bit loose, but it still stays in fine.

Great gear.

Boxing Pro Headgear

Excellent protective device. Snug fit without feeling tight or restrictive, lightweight, great visibility, easy to get on and off.
Only caution is to keep from smiling when your sparring partner gives you a solid shot. You can barely feel it in this thing, it's as close to the sensation of not getting hit as you can get.
Had my instructor told me that he wouldn't make fun of me for getting the full-face bar headgear, I would have gone that route, but this is a rockstar stand in.

Heavy hands

ProTex3 Training Boxing Gloves

Great set of gloves. Excellent padding, quick to get on and off, adequate dexterity while on, solid support.
Most importantly, they do a solid job protecting my knuckles during long heavy bag intervals. After upgrading to these I no longer had to ice my hands at night and my knuckle joints stopped "creaking" after extended training sessions. Another guy at my gym bought a pair after he saw mine. If you can afford them, you should own them.

Great gear bag.

Mesh Bag

Solid bag, strong construction, plenty of room for extra gear. Mesh fabric eliminates the gym bag funk you remember from high school.

Only critique is that it lacks a smaller pouch to keep keys, cell phone, wallet, etc separate from large compartment. Other than that, it's a cool bag to stroll into the gym with. I get positive comments once or twice a week.
