Your Location:
I live in Snohomish Washington
Bio:
I learned how to fight when I was younger but never went anywhere with it in a boxing sense. I played ice hockey for 13 years and spent a lot of time fighting people on the ice using zero discipline and misplaced agression. Now I want to continue learning to box, and hopefully be able to be confident enough to have a bout or two this year.

Pro Speed Bag

I've got this bag. Haven't used it yet because to be completely honest, I am intimidated by the speed bag. Once I've given it a go, I'll give a complete write up on it.

The standard heavy bag

Nevatear Heavy Bag

I have this exact bag and it's great. Not much to say on it aside from the product description. I have the 100lb version. If you can't find it at your local sporting goods store, but it here. The prices reflect that of the stores.

This bag is the business.

I noticed a big price difference on these
Elite Molded Foam Bag Gloves

Over at ringside and at lonsdale usa these gloves cost $20 more than they do here. Does anyone know why the big price difference?

I trust Londsale with my hands

Semi-Elastic Handwrap

I have a couple pairs of handwraps, and essentially they all do the same thing, it's up to you on if they work correctly or not since you or your trainer are putting them on. I however trust the Lonsdale name, and their products are top notch. These handwraps are just like other brands, they are long and have thumb loops and velcro closure. If you are particular to the Lonsdale brand like me, you'll like these wraps. They are affordable and work like a charm.

comfortable but reflects price

Everlast Pro Style Training Gloves

These gloves reflect those in their price range. I would recommend them for a beginner, but eventually you'll want to get leather gloves. They are easy on and easy off, it takes a bit of practice to get them just right though, once you have on your other glove you gotta use your teeth. Much easier than having to try to tie laces with your teeth though hahah!

Answer to: I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS IS ONE PAIR OF GLOVES? AND HOW MINI ARE THEY?
Mini Glove Hangers

so to answer your question about how mini they are, i had to go out and look in the car, they hang from my rear view. they are about for inches long and about three inches wide or so. nice red, and made of leather. tied together at the laces kinda short, so you'll have to re-tie them if you wanna hang them from your rear view. otherwise they are really cool and my girlfriend gets a kick out of them.

I use these gloves, though you are correct in saying they are stiff, just like any sort of glove, they must be broken in a bit.

Comment on: neat gift
Boxing Glove Key Ring

There are a bunch of different brands of these out there, if you like Lonsdale, it's a fun thing to have on your keyring and also people notice it and sometimes want to talk to you about boxing. I think things like this are a fun gift.

Comment on: good wrist support for bag work
Premier Bag Gloves

I notice that most gyms only allow sparring with either 14oz or 16oz gloves, with these gloves at 12oz they may not be suitable for sparring. Like TMArtist says they are probably better suited for bag work.

Semi-Elastic Handwrap

Also, on the inside of the handwrap, "this side down" is printed by the thumb loop. just thought I'd add that.
